Chemdog: The fascinating history of Chemdog immortalizes its legacy
As the story goes, this cultivar spans back to the Grateful Dead Tour at the Deer Creek Amphitheater, Indiana. Many audience members took upon them the responsibility of getting ultra-baked. A dude by the name of Chemdog was one of them. He bought a bag of weed, and found the weed to be top notch.
Once home, and after the weed in the baggy was fully consumed, Chemdog required more. He arranged a delivery to the East Coast. Two solid weed bags were sent and in one of the bags, Chemdog discovered thirteen cannabis seeds. These 13 seeds were the beginning of strains such as OG Kush, Chemdawg and all Diesel varieties. Greenhouse Seeds' version of Chemdog, is not the original “Chemdawg” strain, but a mix between OG Kush and Sour Diesel, which are descendants of Chemdog's cultivars.
The lemon and fuel aromas are extremely pungent and dank. After 9 weeks of flowering, you’ll see buds filled with 21.51% of THC, ready to be harvested.
