Mazar (Dutch Passion)
This 1980's Classic Indica is the winner of several prizes. It is a cross between Skunk #1 and Afghani genetics. It grows to look like a Christmas tree, with buds getting so heavy and big you might need to support the plant at the end of flowering. It will also produce some very strong odors but the taste is sweet, earthy and has hints of hash and citrus.

The journey of this strain began in the 80’s. Dutch Passion believed this strain to be spectacularly dank. For years, they improved the genetics, by stabilizing and selecting the best phenotypes. In 1997, they came across a phenotype that was an absolute treasure, and named her Mazar. Mazar has won several awards since her introduction; she received the 1st prize at Tipo Forte, Bologna 2008, and was recognized as the “Plant of the Year” by Soft Secrets Magazine in 2014.
MAZAR - GROWTH AND AROMAS
This cultivar grows like a Christmas tree. Solid side branches, carrying heavy and dense nugs, are what you can expect from Mazar. It is a tough strain; novice mistakes are likely to be forgiven. Indoor and outdoor growers will receive bountiful yields that will require extra space in the curing area. Mazar reaches short heights, perfect for small and stealthy operations. After 8.5 weeks of flowering, she’s ready for harvest. Once the buds are perfectly ripe, the aromas from this excellence are quite earthy and citrusy. The flavours are reminiscent of Afghani hash, with piney flavours.
